Scout just came back from three days of doggie day care and dog sitting and I couldn’t be happier with how Hayley and her team took care of my dog. Hayley treated Scout with the same love, care and attention she gives her own two dogs and Scout became part of her family. From our first consultation and meeting on the Heath to Scout’s last drop off, Hayley stayed in constant communication with me, sending messages and photos of Scout’s romps in the park. Scout clearly had the time of her life!
Hayley looked after our chocolate Labrador, Biscuit, whilst we were away on holiday and he had a fabulous time! Hayley sent us lots of updates and photos whilst we were away and in every one Biscuit looked so happy out walking and playing with his new friends! Hayley wasn’t able to look after him the whole time we were away so instead she was incredibly helpful in sorting out additional care for the few days she was away with one of her other dog walking pals - she sorted it all out for us so it was zero stress for us and was excellent service. We are incredibly fussy about who we let look after our precious fur baby but Hayley really cared for him as if he were her own and he absolutely loved staying with her. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her in future and recommend her highly to other dog owner friends!
Hayley walked my dad’s dog Ruby (pictured on the left) for the first time recently and I could tell immediately on meeting Hayley that she has a natural affinity with dogs. Ruby took to Hayley immediately on meeting her and I could tell that Ruby adored being looked after by Hayley as she would wait excitedly in the mornings to be collected! I found Hayley to be extremely professional, punctual and trustworthy and I knew from the very start that Ruby would be in excellent hands. I was particularly impressed with Hayley’s professionalism around asking me to fill in a form about Ruby when we first met and also attaching one of her own contact details tags to Ruby’s collar. I would not hesitate in recommending Hayley as a dog walker, dog sitter and dog boarder.
Hayley looked after our Black Labrador called Prince for 2 years when he was 10 years old. He would join her daily walks with her pack and he’d stay with her occasionally when we were away. He’d always look forward to walks with Hayley. She is very reliable, trustworthy, flexible and she absolutely loves dogs. We’ve become close friends over the 5 years we’ve known each other.
Frankie loves his time with Wag + Stride! Regular updates with photos and videos throughout the day let me know my westie is in good hands.
Wag + Stride exceeded my expectations. I have always been particularly dubious about hiring a professional to look after my dog when I am away, but after having such a positive experience I would choose Hayley over friends/family because of her sheer flexibility and level of service they provide. Bonnie was loved in the same ways as Rambo + Braco her own dogs! I would unquestionably recommend her.
Lola and Max had a lovely holiday - Hayley is very caring, very friendly and loving towards them. We had a very nice video of them going out for walks and runs. Max was a bit ill and she took care of him with a solution in hand. She even washed their bedding so it was fresh when Max was better. It’s nice to know we can go away without worrying about our ‘babies’.
On our first training consultation Hayley really listened to what my problems were and how I had tried to solve them without any results. She never judged me or said how wrong I was doing things. She suggested lots of different activities and made me realise that it was all possible but we needed time and dedication. She was hands on all the time and was really great at correcting me and Simon in a helpful, respectful way. We felt very comfortable around her as she was always very supportive of our efforts and results. Willow is much more responsive - she stays, lies down, her recall has vastly improved and she doesn’t go mad at the door bell anymore!
2 snails and a little dog, Hayley didn’t hesitate to take in my little ones in when I went off to Malaysia worry free, knowing they were being looked after. I’m pretty sure snails aren’t a usual request and we rescued our doggy Rhoda who was a stray not long ago but she felt right at home at Hayley’s house. Rhoda was on medication for a bad skin condition and needed treatment which I handed over to Hayley whilst away.. it had cleared up significantly upon my return. I will always book in with Wag + Stride from now on, thank you so much, you’re simply brilliant.
